Neutral Zone 8 is believed to be the 8th Neutral Zone to be confirmed in the early days of the Incorporated Elysian Republic. However, Neutral Zones have come and gone, been stumbled into and named, been sought out and avoided, sometimes to be forgotten. Or not. And there have been several cases when folks in disparate corners of the multiverse have simultaneously named and numbered nearby Zones, so that there were, for example, multiple Neutral Zone 9’s. Neutral Zone 8, one of the most famous (infamous?) Neutral Zones, famous and/or infamous for being the setting of the Neutral Zone Incident of AnarchEra 134 that resulted in Brucilla the Muscle’s expulsion from the Brigade and the famous trial on Recreation Station 97. The Brigade and its academy were also banned from the Zone, thus losing access to their state of the art obstacle course, as well as to Dead Man’s Mirror, though the latter was officially off-limits to cadets.
