The Griivarr clan’s family business. Griivarr Interprises, Inc. includes:
1) A publishing concern that rakes in profits from the continued sales of the popular book Bob Griivarr’s Simple Recipe for Happiness and its many sequels.
2) The media empire built thereon, including Happiness, Inc. a production company producing self-help holovids loosely based on the book, starring “Uncle Bob,” and Griivarr World’s Funtasm, producers of the long-running kids’ show Uncle Bob’s Fantanimals and Grunnyun “Buddy” Griivarr’s popular talkshow Good News.
3) Theme parks–Uncle Bob’s Fantanimalland being the largest and most famous–located on most Griivarr Worlds and on numerous Rec Stations.
4) Varr Enov Gifts and Trinkets, selling the T-shirts, posters, mugs, magnets, and decorative plates based on Bob Griivarr’s Simple Recipe for Happiness, as well as the holovids, shows, and theme parks.
5) Fortunate Cookies Unlimited employs hundreds of Varr Aut’s inhabitants as writers of fortunes for their cookies. The tasty cookies, with pithy sayings baked inside, are best-sellers in all corners of the civilized Multiverse.
6) U-Can-Grabbit, a division of Griivarr Interprises that manufactures aluminum, titanium, and krystilium stein handles, though the titanium and krystilium versions are really anything handles.
During the first centicycle of AnarchEra, Grivvarr Interprises, Inc. was managed solely by Brzzzt Oomph Burble “You can call me BOB” Griivarr, who by all accounts was a sweetly naive idealist and incredibly benign dictator. Few, if any, Griivarr Worlds’ citizens perceived that they were being dictated to at all. Two of Bob’s children would take over much of the business, Grunyun “Buddy” Griivarr on the creative side, Lizbut “Princess” Grivvar on the financial. They would do their daddy proud.
